What is VOIP?
VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. In other words, it refers to a phone that you can plug into your computer and be able to speak with people anywhere in the world. Often, you won’t even need to have a landline installed at home or even pay line rental if you have cable internet. You simple use VOIP calling to make all phone calls. You need to check with your ISP what is available with their service. Generally speaking you can still get your own phone number and make/receive calls the same way you always have.
